Robson Kay specialise in acting for insolvency practitioners who make up the majority of our clients.
Based in Manchester, we have one of the largest dedicated auction complexes of any corporate recovery specialist in the country, which includes a large warehouse, two-storey office block, carpark and exterior vehicle storage, with state of the art security that includes external out of hours CCTV and intruder alarm monitoring.
As corporate recovery specialists, we understand the requirement to act quickly, flexibly and discreetly. We are members of both NAVA and R3. Our segregated client account is independently audited on a regular basis and we hold all the appropriate insurances including professional indemnity and cover for physical assets both in transit and held at our premises.
Our range of services includes assisting with Retention of Title claims which is a particular area of expertise, marketing businesses within SIP 16 guidelines which includes mailing out to our database of almost 20,000 potential buyers, preparing appropriate reports to assist our clients with their duties and selling in a manner which can be demonstrated to have achieved market value. Our large auction complex together with full-time portering staff and an extensive range of handling equipment means that we are capable of uplifting and securing assets with the minimum of notice, following which they can be safely stored at our premises for an appropriate period of time (to allow for ROT claims, data wiping, etc) before ultimately being sold.
Whilst we primarily cover the North West of England we are regularly instructed to act on cases throughout the UK. We are also proud to have a number of regular insolvency practitioner clients based in the Midlands and South of England who instruct us to act on cases in their locale.
Clients most typically commend our hands-on approach, flexibility and innovation, speedy reporting, understanding of insolvency and our auction premises.
We pride ourselves in our ability to establish an individual Insolvency Practitioner’s requirements at the earliest stage possible so that we can adapt our services to suit and provide as much or as little assistance as our instructing IP (and the individual case requires).
Whilst our prime concern is to provide meaningful valuations, reports, advice and assistance plus maximise the realisation cost effectively, we do not lose sight of the importance of dealing with all the “little things” from finance company liaison, to ROT, to return of third party equipment, to changing of locks etc.Contact robson kay to discuss your requirements
